Goldies was founded by two chefs from the three-star kitchen — with a clear mission: gourmet quality for everyone, "Best Bad Food In Town". What began in 2017 in Berlin-Kreuzberg became a cult hit with the smashburger — celebrated for a while as Germany's best burger and now expanding against the big chains.
We had the pleasure of supporting the brand on its leap out of Berlin: together we co-conceived, designed and built the first Goldies store outside the capital — in Frankfurt. From the material and design concept through to turnkey delivery, so the cult smashburger feels exactly right at its new location too.

Goldies — founded in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2017 by two chefs from a three-star kitchen and celebrated for a time as “Germany’s best burger” — wanted to make the leap out of the capital: the first store outside Berlin, in Frankfurt. The Berlin cult feel had to make the move too, without becoming a copy.
We co-conceived, designed and built the Frankfurt store together with the brand — from the material and design concept through to turnkey delivery from a single source: planned, built in our manufactory in Ober-Mörlen, installed on site.
The first Goldies outside Berlin feels exactly right at its new location — the brand is expanding against the big chains, and the Frankfurt concept provides the template for further sites.
